Define Yourself!
Program
UK: 1 in 4 women & 1 in 6 men experience Domestic Violence (DV).
1 in 5 children are exposed to DV.
USA: 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience DV.
Statistics for children run into millions and we know
they are higher than what research suggests.
I created Define Yourself! for women, men and young people to find themselves and make decisions for themselves.
Don't let something that was done to you define you.

We explore who you are, your history, your time-line. You get to tell your story and be listened to.
I introduce you to the Power and Control Wheel and the Cycle of Abuse by Lenore Walker - you’ll get an inside Seat to how abuse works.
Using your history, including how you were raised (parented) we explore your values, beliefs and attitudes. Do you believe you are worthy? Do you believe you can change your beliefs and attitudes?
We look at how women are taught to control their desires while men aren’t. We take a deep dive into gendered parenting - my personal bug Bear. What makes you happy & what is it you would like to do or be?
Abusers have a PhD in isolation, they thrive on it. In this session we look at how they isolate you from family and friends, and what it does to you.
We look at the impact of abusive behaviour and what it does to the victim and any child/ren individually and collectively.
Identify what was missing in your childhood and how you want to manage this now.
What would you want to do or say to your younger self vs what you have to do to achieve it.
Focus is on YOU, Your Journey and Your Story - as you see it.
Identity and your Rights, finding the Nugget closest to your heart. Most women struggle to answer this question.
They’ve never thought about what makes them happy and few have been asked.
The World is waiting for you, yes YOU.
Where do you want to go from here?
Education, Employment, Entrepreneur?
Who are these programs for?
Define Yourself!
Program
Define Yourself! is for anyone 18+ who has experienced DVA and/or Trauma so they can find themselves.
BeyondTrauma Recovery
Program
The BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme is for everyone who has encountered any type of trauma from being in, or witnessing, an accident to experiencing the loss of a loved one and feeling lost and overwhelmed in the process. It MUST be followed from Session 1 to Session 7.
It looks at the clusters we use to manage our emotions and provides coping skills to manage feelings of panic, anxiety and alarm. There are exercises for you to do at the end of each session. I encourage you to do them in your time.
The aim is for you to know you're not going crazy. Your body is trying to tell you what's happening. You're going to learn how to listen to your body and identify what is happening.
Change Your Narrative
Program
This course is for anyone who has experienced domestic violence and abuse, wants to break the cycle of abuse and wants to learn how to make their children’s lives better.
For Muslims, I open up Pandoras box by looking at ‘Sabr and Dhulm’ (Patience and Injustice) and ‘Sharm and Izzat’ (Shame and Honour) in the context of Islam. I’ve focussed on Muslim women but this course will address the needs of all women and young people.
The aim is to change the thinking from ‘no one understands’ to “no one needs to understand, because I do and I’m important, I matter”.
Freedom
Program
The Freedom Program (FP)is for women who have experienced DVA. Created for women who want to move forward with their lives. Women get to share their experiences and learn from others. They find out they aren't alone.
The FP assists you in making decisions through validation and confirmation of your experiences.
The FP does NOT give advice or offer counselling. We offer support throughout the program as we understand the distressing nature of the process.
